Community Reinvestment Act
The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), enacted by Congress in 1977 (12 U.S.C. 2901) and implemented by Regulations 12 CFR parts 25, 228, 345, and 195, is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate.
Lending
We provide loans to purchase, rehabilitate, or construct affordable housing and community facilities.
Service
We offer technical assistance on financial matters, provide financial services for organizations facilitating affordable housing construction, rehabilitation, or development. Provide credit counseling, home buyer education, or other education to promote community development and affordable housing.
Investment
Resources to lend or facilitate lending to promote community development; engaged in affordable housing multifamily rental; projects eligible for LIHTC; serving low-and moderate-income housing or other needs such as, counseling for credit, homeownership, and other literacy programs
