The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announces the appointments of Brad Southern, Amanda W. Hite, Mike Honious, and Kelly Dilts to the Nashville Branch board of directors.
Southern was appointed by the Board of Governors to serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2026. He is the chair and chief executive officer of Louisiana-Pacific Corporation in Nashville. Southern is a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers and a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Hite was appointed by the Board of Governors to serve an unexpired three-year term beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2025. She is the president of CoStar Group in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Hite is a member of the board of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College.
Honious was appointed by the Atlanta board of directors to serve an unexpired three-year term beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2025. He is the president and chief executive officer of GEODIS in Americas in Brentwood, Tennessee. Honious serves as the chair for the LEAD Public Schools Metro Nashville, Tennessee, and is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
Dilts was appointed by the Atlanta board of directors to serve an unexpired three-year term beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2024, with an additional three-year term beginning January 1, 2025. She is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dollar General Corporation in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Dilts is a graduate of the University of Texas.
Marshall E. Crawford Jr., president and chief executive officer of the Housing Fund Inc. in Nashville, was reappointed by the Atlanta board of directors to a three-year term beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2026.
The other directors of the Atlanta Fed’s Nashville Branch are:
- Thomas Zacharia (board chair), former laboratory director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and former president and CEO of UT-Battelle LLC in Oak Ridge (term expires December 31, 2024), and
- Leif M. Murphy, CEO of TeamHealth Holdings Inc. in Knoxville (term expires December 31, 2024).
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta branch directors provide economic information from their industries and the branch territory to the district Bank’s president and head office directors, who use the information in discussing monetary policy options and making discount rate recommendations. The Board of Governors appoints three of the Nashville Branch directors, and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
